H.E Ambassador Ibok-Ekwe Ibas, the then Nigeria Ambassador to Ghana and other dignitaries launched the TC Awards in 2022

In 2022 TC Awards acknowledged and honoured 45 individuals and 15 institutions. The program was open to the public and approximately 1200 people were in attendance. During the program, attendees enjoyed great music from prominent musicians such as Adane Best, Pat Thomas, Lacasera Fuji and AB Jazz. Food, drinks and beverages were served to our guests courtesy of our sponsors. In attendance were the Nigeria Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Ambassador Ibok-Ekwe Ibas, The representative of the former presidents of Ghana, H.E John Agyekun Kufuor and H.E John Dramani Mahama. The representative of the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey while Nii Abola and other high chiefs represented the Ga Mantse.

Also in attendance are Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye(former minister of sports), Hon. Mustafer, members of the National Council of Obas in Ghana, The Asiwaju of the Yoruba community in Ghana - Alhaji Chief Musa Baba, the President of the Yoruba National Council of Elders - Alhaji Sidiku Buari, the Balogun of the Yoruba people in Ghana - Alhaji Chief Dr. Ahmed Vanderpuije, Council of Yoruba Baales and Chiefs, Leaders of businesses and Corporate Institutions, etc. TCAwards 2022 Media Launch was held at the Cleaver House Accra on 6th October 2021 while the Main Event was held at the Fantasy Dome in La, Accra on Saturday, June 11th, 2022. Themed “Yoruba Community Ghana: From Migrants to Citizens”.
